Sometimes following bad directions can lead you on a new path, I woke up early with a plan of attack for Zion I was so excited i decided for some reason to use google maps instead of Waze
Google maps took me to the other side of zion about 1 hour away from the main entrance where i had mapped everything i wanted to do and see.This side of Zion was not so great for RV’s So i decided to just head back down the mountain and then decide to look for an overnight spot and try again or to go late and hope i could find a spot for my rv in the parking lot.
On the way back down the long road I noticed a campsite with a variation of rv’s and tent campers. I pulled in asking one couple who said “you can stay here up to 2 weeks” so I am now going to stay here for the next few nights and in the daytime’s head to the main entrance 15 min from here and check out Zion….
I have a great spot right next to a stream where I sat on a rock putting my feet in the water and practiced some meditation until I felt little fish kissing my feet..lol. LIFE IS GOOD 🙂 there is no way of holding your camping spot so i might have to be creative with some string….
